AGRI-WASTE2H2 is a 4-year project funded by NordForsk through the Green Transition call, starting on 2025. The project is a collaboration between our group at Aalto University (Finland), Helena Lundberg’s group at KTH (Sweden) and Maksim Ošeka’s group at TalTech (Estonia).
The major aim of this project is the valorization of straw-derived cellulose by combining electrocatalytic and electrosynthetic approaches. We aim to contribute to a more efficient utilization of renewable agricultural residues to generate valuable chemicals and green H2, fostering a sustainable and low-carbon society.
